FISH!ing in the OutbackIt was a pleasure to return to Barcaldine to conduct another workshop for Central West Hospital and Health Services. This was a follow up to the original launch of FISH! to CWHHS during March/April 2014 where 200 employees attended our FISH! Experience workshops. Each FISH! Experience workshop featured the original FISH! Film followed by further discussion on each of the four FISH! practices. We keep everyone engaged by ensuring the energy level is high while introducing fun group activities that help the participants feel comfortable. We always start by clarifying our FISH! guidelines to help keep people keep on track without the distraction of negativity.
A safe environment is created so the participants can feel free to open up and start having fun without the fear of judgement from peers. The end result of each session is that the participants share which FISH! practice they would like to focus on back at work and they develop their personal action plan.
At the end of each workshop we always ask for feedback to make sure that we are constantly improving and providing our customers with what they want. I am happy to report that once again our participants were overwhelmingly impressed with the workshop. Our average rating from the 21 participants was 90% out of 100%.
Some of the comments we received when asked:
